Its a sunny 84 Degrees Everyday in Omaha

Living in a climate like Omaha’s I am always looking for fun, active things that my family can do in the winter time.  With six inches of snow on the ground, swimming might not be the first thing that you think of, but at Coco Keys in Omaha the water is always nice and warm.
My family first came to Coco Keys a few months ago with my son who is 22 months old.  Although he was too young to ride the towering slides that they are known for, there were still plenty of great activities for him to enjoy. In fact they have a whole toddler area geared just for kids his age with slides, water features and a zero entry.  It was great to have a special area just for kids his age so he could explore without getting in the way.
My son’s favorite attraction was definitely the lazy river. They provide both single and double tubes for you to use and there are several water features around the lazy river which my son thought were really exciting. It was great to be able to slowly float around enjoying the warm water and acoustic sounds of water.
The resort also boasts rentable cabanas for larger groups, a full bar and kitchen as well as areas for all age groups including an indoor/outdoor hot tub for adults to enjoy. They have a full locker-room with lockers you can purchase, showers and even complimentary towels for your use.
I would highly recommend taking your family to Coco Keys whether you are looking for a reprieve from the cold weather or just want to get out for some good family fun.  They often sell discounted tickets on sites like Groupon and Living Social so you can have a great day for half the price.
